Designed by Robert Trent Jones and opened in 1964 Sotogrande has always been one of the worlds top 100 courses and has been as high as number 2 in Europes top 100 courses. There are wide fairways and very little rough on the course and no hidden hazards but the greens are very slick and protect the course along with some strong breezes. Sotogrande has a very regal feel and the conditioning of the course is something to behold. A must play.
